Now if you wanted to go Temur for Cleansing Wildfire, you might have more of a point - Wildfire is basically draw-2-for-2-with-upside, which Turbo Fog is in the market for. Growth Spiral is fine in Turbo Fog, but Brainstorm is better. As long as I can keep drawing through my deck and Fogging any scary attacks, I'm still favored. I played against Ponza the other day and I mostly didn't bother fighting over their land destruction spells, because they just don't matter in the long run. You don't even really care about making your own land drops too much. You want your opponent to take turns so they draw through their deck, inching you closer to victory naturally. Turbo Fog isn't just about ramping into the mega-late-game, but about allowing your opponent to run themselves out of relevant resources, Fogging only when necessary. I see what you're saying but in practice, Explore effects do not play out the same as Time Walk (though Savor the Moment is a bit closer, since you don't untap).
